Impact Disclosure

Last updated April 24, 2026

Impact Membership is alignment, not charity. We are not a registered non-profit and we do not market this as a donation product. This page exists so members know exactly what their €1.99/month does and does not do.

Where the money goes

  • Payment processing & fees: Paddle (merchant of record), card networks, currency conversion. For microtransactions of this size, processor fees can reach ~10% per charge.
  • Operational handling: infrastructure, identity, compliance, support, accounting. We allocate a clearly defined share to operations.
  • Impact allocation: the remainder, after fees and operations, is directed toward initiatives within your selected cause category — Education, Food, Clean Water, Mental Health, or Tech for Kids.

How initiatives are selected

We partner with vetted initiatives within each cause category. The list of partners and the allocation methodology are reviewed periodically and published in quarterly impact reports to active members.

What we explicitly do not promise

  • That €1.99 equals a fixed monetary unit delivered to a specific person.
  • That every euro is allocated immediately — funds are pooled and disbursed in batches.
  • Tax-deductible donation receipts. This is a membership, not a charitable donation.

Reporting

Active Impact members receive a quarterly impact report summarizing total funds pooled, allocations per cause, partner activity, and operational notes.

Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. Cancellation does not affect funds already pooled and allocated.

Honest framing

We use careful language ("alignment", "supports") because we believe overstated impact claims are corrosive. If you ever feel this product is being marketed as more than it is, tell us at hello@getlifemapp.com — that feedback matters.
